Hello Family! Since we had our big vacation in May visiting Jordan & Ginanne and our beautiful grandchildren, we decided to do some smaller trips around our area. However, as always, there was always a ward activity or our turn serving at the temple that prevented any trips. Until yesterday. Dad, still enjoying summer hours which allows him to leave work on Fridays at 12:00 came home and we headed to the Lincoln County fair in Davenport, WA. Over the years we have enjoyed the Spokane County fair less and less. It was so commercialized and crowded. So we headed to Davenport and enjoyed a small town fair. The whole fair was about two blocks long and had one main street! It was great!

Dad's new Sweet Ride!

 

The time had finally come when Dad had to say good-bye to the Blue Bomber. It kept stalling or not starting leaving him stranded ALOT! So when the car refused to start this last Sunday after a Stake Priesthood meeting, that was the clincher. And this was after a lot of money was poured into it to try to find out what was wrong! So here we have Dad's 'new' car. A cute '98 Dodge Neon. The name of this car is open to suggestions!

Celebrating the Good Times!

We spent a great time with Becky as she celebrated

obtaining her Master's Degree in Literacy! Lots of

touristy visits, a wonderful graduation ceremony and

seeing the temple being built in Provo! Congratulations Becky!

Our journey home included a stop at this amazing monument! It is literally 'breathtaking'!
